Maths Week 2009

The 4th annual Maths Week will take place this year from October 10th to 17th. An all Ireland celebration of maths, Maths Week Ireland aims to raise awareness, appreciation and understanding of mathematics for all. Maths week also hopes to encourage more young people to develop their maths skills so to aid them in areas such as engineering, science, accountancy etc.
Some of the events being held during Maths Week includes Maths in the City (Dublin), How does your iPod work? (Waterford IT)and Murderous Maths (DCU). Further information on Maths week, the participants and a full list of events can be found on the Maths Week website by clicking here.
