Assistant Professor in Statistics and Data Science

JOB SYNOPSIS:
The successful candidate will be an expert in the field of statistics for data science. They will develop/define a collaborative and inter-disciplinary research programme that complements existing research themes within the Department in the area(s) of statistics and data science (e.g. Bayesian modelling, functional data analysis, survival analysis, spatial statistics, statistical learning, biostatistics, network models, industrial mathematics or other relevant topics),, and will contribute to teaching within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will be primarily responsible for the delivery, teaching and tutorial support for the fully online Professional Diploma in Data Analytics, to an employment-based cohort of students.

Salary Scale: ¤47,955 - ¤65,244 p.a. pro rata
