UCD Ad Astra Elite Sports Scholar Tadhg O'Donnell has taken home the men's 75kg title at the finals of the National Elite Boxing Championships. In front of a packed crowd at the National Stadium, Jobstown BC's O'Donnell was crowned champion on a 5-0 decision, following an action-packed contest with Gavin Rafferty of Dublin Docklands.

UCD AFC have won the Colleges and Universities Football League (CUFL) Premier Division title. Following a decisive 4-0 victory over ATU Sligo at Athlone Town Stadium, the Students brought the CUFL Premier championship back to Belfield for a tenth time.
