
Ms Frizelle, who is an Associate Teacher in Japanese in the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences was announced as the recipient of this year’s award at a recent ceremony held at the Millennium Theatre in the Technical University of the Shannon (TUS).
The Regional Teaching Excellence Award is a collaborative initiative between University of Limerick, Mary Immaculate College (MIC) and the Technical University of the Shannon (TUS) which aims to showcase and champion outstanding practice in Higher Education teaching from across the region.
Since last October, a number of candidates from the three institutions have put themselves through the very rigorous process of compiling a detailed teaching portfolio comprising multiple sources of evidence of excellent practice.
Six other outstanding teachers from across the region were recognised at the ceremony, hosted by the Presidents of three institutions.
